The Community Church of Mill Valley is located within a short walking distance of downtown Mill Valley and its many excellent restaurants and shops. Surrounded by redwood trees on Throckmorton Ave, the church faces quiet Olive Street. Several benches for outdoor breaks are located in the patio and garden area, and the church is located directly across the street from Old Mill Park. It is a lovely, relaxing setting for many activities.

Sanctuary
Beautiful room with stone fireplace, walls of French windows, and massive beams of redwood illuminated by handcrafted lanterns.

Tamalpais Hall

Payments/Deposits
Full payment is required to confirm a booking. A reservation fee will be retained in the event of a cancellation.

A security and cleaning deposit is required, but will be returned if the building is left in satisfactory condition.

Furnishings/Setup/Food/Beverage Services
Eleven (11) 6-foot tables and two (2) 8-foot tables. Both padded chairs and folding chairs are available.

Setup may be done by the renter or may be arranged through the church for an extra charge.

The Community Church does not provide food service. Renters are welcome to hire their own caterer. The church has a list of caterers who have used the facility; the list is available upon request.

If requested, the Community Church will provide coffee and tea service at an additional charge.

Possible Hours of Use
Monday through Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Amplified Sound
Amplified music is permitted inside only. The City of Mill Valley requires that sound levels not exceed 65 decibels before 9 p.m. and 50 decibels thereafter.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the building. However, a designated smoking area is located on the front patio.
